Rijnmond is an 810 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant located in the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The plant comprises of two 265 MW Siemens gas turbines and 280 MW Alstom steam turbine. Having started its operations in 2004, the plant is positioned in the mid-merit of efficient gas-fired CCGTs in the Netherlands. Rijnmond is well-placed to provide reliable, non-intermittent electricity to Dutch power grid.
